Photo Printers

Portable photo printers use wireless technology, like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, to connect with your smartphone or camera. Once connected, you can select and print your photos directly from your device. Most portable printers use ZINK (Zero Ink) technology or dye-sublimation to print vibrant, smudge-proof photos without the need for ink cartridges.

Many portable photo printers, like those using ZINK technology, do not require ink cartridges. These printers use special paper that contains embedded colour crystals, which are activated during the printing process. Other models that use dye-sublimation or inkjet technology may require ink cartridges or ribbon refills.

Most portable photo printers print small, wallet-sized photos, typically 2x3 inches. However, some models, like the Fujifilm Instax Share, offer prints in larger sizes, such as 2.4x3.9 inches (Instax Mini) or even larger formats for different uses.

Portable photo printers typically print photos in 1 to 2 minutes, depending on the model. The printing process is quick, and you can usually hold the printed photo in your hand shortly after it’s ejected from the printer.
